The safety of your child, family, and our staff is Willowdale Children’s Academy’s number one priority. We are committed to all children and families who trust us to maintain the highest health and safety standards.
In the wake of COVID-19, we share the concerns of parents and neighboring communities. Therefore, we want to inform parents about the series of measures and procedures we put in place to mitigate the risk of transmission of the virus and other germs. We thank you for your continuous trust and support.
Together, we will keep our communities healthy and safe and get through these trying times.
At Willowdale Children’s Academy, we follow the guidance and directives from the state of Pennsylvania, and local and federal health departments.
All of our schools are following the same procedures and protocols. All of our directors and teachers were trained and requested to enforce the same operating procedures regarding health and safety.
We enforce CDC-recommended preventative measures in all our schools located in Chester County and Montgomery County, PA.
DROP-OFF & PICK-UP
You are kindly requested to drop off and pick up your child at the schools’ entrance door.
At all times, you are kindly requested to practice social distancing with other parents, children, and staff members.
Parents will not be allowed to enter the building. Parents are required to wear a mask during the drop-off and pick up procedures. At the main entrance, one of our staff members will proceed to a health screening with a contactless thermometer to ensure that your child has no fever. You are requested to stay with your child until they have been cleared and authorized to enter the school building. If your child experiences a fever above 100 degrees Fahrenheit or other flu-like symptoms, they will not be authorized to enter the school building.
A designated staff member will take your child from the entrance hallway to their respective classroom.
For pick-up, a staff member will bring your child to the main entrance.
USE OF MASKS & GLOVES

With the help of their teachers, children are encouraged to wash their hands multiple times during the day based on their activity.
During drop-off and pick-up, parents are requested to practice social distancing and leave at least six feet between other parents, children, and staff members.
You are required to wear a mask close to our schools to avoid propagating the virus or germs to other adults or children.
We practice social distancing at school during the day. Your child will remain in their respective classroom or playground with their designated teachers.

CONTACTLESS TEMPERATURE CHECKS
We will use temporal or contactless thermometers to check temperatures.
All of our staff members are screened before entering the building and periodically during the day.
All children will be screened. In the event of fever above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, you are kindly requested to keep your child at home.

Our staff rigorously clean every classroom.
